Exploring Arizona, Adaptive Hiking Series

There’s no better way to refresh the spirit than a hike in the wonderful outdoors! Join us for Exploring Arizona adaptive hiking series.
This is a partnership with Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center and Barrow Neurological Institute/Barrow Outpatient Neuro-Rehabilitation Center. Space is limited and we want people to sign up soon!
This outdoor program is unique in the sense that participants will require no additional devices or equipment to navigate the trail. The Trails we have chosen for these upcoming hikes are all hard packed dirt and can be done from a Powerchair, Day Wheelchair, Crutches, Walker...etc.
People are allowed to bring 1 friend/caregiver with them and can sign up using the form below. If you'd like to bring more than one person, call 602-386-4284.
Service or Emotional Support Animals: Ability360 allows Service Animals to go anywhere with the participant. The animal must remain under the control of the handler at all times. Generally, this is accomplished with a tether, leash, harness, voice, signal, or electronic tether.
- Ability360 is not required to provide care or food for a service animal.
- Ability360 Center provides an area on the southwest corner of the Ability360 Center for Service Animals to relieve themselves. If not at the Center, please ask an Ability360 Staff for the designated area.
- Ability360 will ask the participant’s Service Animal to be removed from the premises if:
1. The service animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it or
2. The service animal is not housebroken.
Ability360 will not be held liable for animals that are aggressive, bite, or cause injury to another person.
Cost: $10 per person
