Exploring Arizona, Adaptive Hiking Series

There’s no better way to refresh the spirit than a hike in the wonderful outdoors! Join us for Exploring Arizona adaptive hiking series.


This is a partnership with Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center, AZ Spinal Cord Association, and Barrow Neurological Institute/Barrow Outpatient Neuro-Rehabilitation Center. Space is limited and we want people to sign up soon!

This outdoor program is unique in the sense that participants will require no additional devices or equipment to navigate the trail. The Trails we have chosen for these upcoming hikes are all hard packed dirt and can be done from a Powerchair, Day Wheelchair, Crutches, Walker…etc.

People are allowed to bring 1 friend/caregiver with them and can sign up using the form below. If you’d like to bring more than one person, call 602-386-4284. NO ANIMALS ALLOWED.

Cost: $10 per person

Transportation: If needed (be at Ability 360 by 9:30am sharp. Transportation will be leaving at 10am.): additional $5 per person

Bring a sack lunch, snacks, water, and sun protection

DISTANCE = This is a 2.0 mile loop. If you do the full loop. There are many other loops to make this hike shorter or longer

TIME: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM 

Coolers will be provided for you to place your own Snacks or Lunch inside! 

Make sure you dress accordingly for the weather day of.
