About Home Care Services

Ability360’s Home Care Services program employs more than 2,300 personal care assistants throughout the Maricopa, Pinal/Gila and Pima Counties. Despite being the largest provider of in home care services, Ability360 maintains its “small town” approach while providing you individualized and personal in home care.

Ability360 is a nonprofit, consumer-driven organization. Ability360’s Home Care Services program has been providing nationally-recognized, quality in home care services to seniors and people with disabilities for over 25 years. Home Care Services values the whole person and empowers people to live as independently as possible.

Home Care Services recruits, screens, trains and employs caregivers who provide personal assistance services to any individual that is qualified through the Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) and has a selected UnitedHealthCare Community Plan, Mercy Care Plan, or Banner University Family Care, as well as to Native Americans who are qualified and receiving services through AHCCCS/ALTCS and the Native American Community Health Centers. Ability360 also provides personal home care services to persons who are developmentally disabled through the Arizona Department of Economic Security’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Private Pay

Ability360’s Home Care Services program also offers consumers who are not receiving services through any of the above-listed agencies, the ability to obtain a caregiver by paying for those services themselves.

Types of Services

Ability360’s Home Care Services program provides many different assistant care services to meet each individual’s needs, including personal care; homemaking; and respite care/companionship. Request in home care services to fill any of these needs.

Respite Care

Respite services allow a family to leave their loved ones without worry that they won’t be taken care of. Services may include:

  • Companionship / supervision
  • Bathing / showering
  • Toileting assistance
  • Dressing
  • Transfers
  • Meal preparation
  • Bed positioning
  • Light exercise


Housekeeping services will assist you in maintaining a clean and safe home environment. Services may include:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Kitchen
  • Bathroom
  • Bedroom
  • Change Linens
  • Laundry; fold and put away
  • Meal preparation
  • Grocery shopping/errands

Personal Care

Personal Care services assist you in maintaining good hygiene in the most sensitive and dignified manner. Services may include:

  • Bathing / showering
  • Toileting assistance
  • Dressing
  • Transfers
  • Bed positioning
  • Medication reminder
  • Light exercise
  • Meal preparation
  • Errands
  • Accompany to appointments
