About the Program

AZEEI groups and classes teach people with disabilities how to better advocate for themselves and their community. These free groups and classes are open to anyone with a disability.

This program is for you if you want to:

  • Getting involved with Ability360, your city, and your community.
  • Learning about Centers for Independent Living, disability history and the Independent Living Philosophy.
  • Gaining and improve skills to help you advocate for yourself and others.
The Arizona Education and Empowerment Initiative (AZEEI) is a collaborative effort of the Arizona Statewide Independent Living Council (AZSILC) and the five Arizona Centers for Independent Living (CILs), who as a collective, form the Arizona Independent Living (IL) Network.
