
The Virginia G. Piper Sports & Fitness Center for Persons with Disabilities is very pleased to announce that Brielle Carter has been promoted to manager of SpoFit.
As many of our members will know, Brielle began at SpoFit a fitness instructor. She started and will continue to instruct the ever popular boot camps on Monday and Wednesdays.
Brielle is an accomplished fitness trainer, educator, instructor and supervisor, with diverse experience in fitness, exercise and training programs and recreation facilities. At the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Strength & Conditioning and Wellness Promotion. She earned a Master of Science in Sport Management (CAAHEP Accredited) from East Stroudsburg University, PA. Brielle is an adjunct faculty member for Mesa Community College and Arizona State University, teaching courses such as Healthful Living and Introduction to Strength & Conditioning.
Brielle holds certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Indoor Cycling, Insanity, Level 1 Yoga Fit, and is a certified American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor. Brielle is a member and Arizona state director elect of the National Intramural Recreation Sports Association. Brielle began her journey with SpoFit as a group fitness instructor and later joined our team as a Program Coordinator before being promoted to Manager. She has a personal love for fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Brielle resides in the valley with her husband Phillip and their son, Jaxton, who is 1 ½ years old.
