LOVITT & TOUCHÉ DONATES TO SPOFIT
Donation will Greatly Impact Military Programming
December 12, 2013- PHOENIX, AZ- The Virginia G. Piper Sports & Fitness Center for Persons with Disabilities (SpoFit) is proud to announce a new partnership with Lovitt & Touché to provide $6,000 towards military programming.
The generous donation will allow SpoFit to award scholarship memberships to both past and present military men and women who are interested in becoming SpoFit members. The memberships will include a variety of options such as the Military Access Pass, MAP, and will include use of the entire SpoFit facility – pools, courts, fitness center, and participation in group classes – and programs for veterans and day use passes. SpoFit provides free memberships to past and present military members. Fees are paid by scholarships and donations from individuals, foundations and corporations such as Lovitt & Touché.
“We are honored to be able to provide scholarships to individuals who have given so much of themselves to our country. This is just a small way for us to say thank you,” said Dave Wilder, Executive Vice President of Lovitt & Touché.
Lovitt & Touché Inc. is one of the largest insurance agencies in the United States. Their commitment is to satisfy their client’s needs and expectations through development of quality programs, and the Phoenix Business Journal has selected them as one of the “Best Places to Work in the Valley” for the past five years.
“As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support of the community and good corporate partners such as Lovitt & Touché to keep our doors open and enable us to reach as many members as possible. This opens so many doors to us and we are grateful for this new friendship,” said Brielle Carter, SpoFit’s manager.
