This week ABILITY360 kicked off its Annual Appeal campaign.

Each year the campaign is created in an effort to raise funds from within the community for the organization to reinvest in its programs.

This year ABILITY360 again chose to highlight SpoFit, ABILITY360’s sports & fitness center.  The funds will be used create an all new adaptive spin class for members. SpoFit has a great opportunity this year to create something unique because one donor has pledged to match up to $25,000 towards the new program.

The idea of a Krankcycle program came from SpoFit members. Spin cycle classes are very popular because they offer a low impact exercise routine that builds up both endurance and muscular strength at the same time.

“The program will be very unique,” says Gus LaZear, VP & General manager of SpoFit, “We will have able bodied and people with disabilities working out side by side.”
