On Thursday, December 6 the SpoFit court was filled with members participating in SpoFit’s first ever 60 Second Showdown. Four teams of four players each consisted of 16 SpoFit members of various ages & abilities. Team Dynasty, The All-Stars, Hot Pockets, & Speed Races competed in fun, friendly individual & team challenges. Team Dynasty prevailed in an overtime win.
The teams came up with a plan as to which individuals participated in each individual challenge. These included Cup Hands, Face the Cookie, Play it by Ear, & Movin on Up where participants raced against each other to be the 1st to get a cookie from their forehead to their face using nothing but their facial muscles.
The teams also competed together in three team challenges, Ping Pong Races, Breakfast Scramble, & Don’t Blow the Kings. All the challenges encouraged team work & great sportsmanship. Not only did the teams test their abilities & have fun, they won great prizes of Spofit shirts, water bottles, & restaurant gift cards!
