Outrigger Canoe Team

Ability360, in partnership with Team Arizona Outrigger Canoe Club, offers adaptive outrigger canoeing at Tempe Town Lake. Paddlers of all abilities and experience levels are welcome, from beginners trying the sport for the first time to experienced athletes looking to train and compete.

Outrigger canoeing combines teamwork, fitness and time on the water for a fun, challenging full-body workout. Participants can paddle recreationally or pursue competitive opportunities, with adaptive equipment and instruction available as needed. No previous paddling experience is required.

Annual membership is $175. Ability360 athletes receive a $75 discount, bringing the annual cost to $100. Use promo code Ability360 (case-sensitive) when registering. Proof of Ability360 membership is required at your first session. You will be required to provide proof of membership upon arriving at your first session.

Download the Heja mobile application and use code: YD-619456 to let us know if you plan to attend practices. This is important as we need to know numbers to determine how many boats we need for practice, what seat you’ll be in, etc. You will check either “going” or “not going” on the schedule.
