This 2-day health fair will offer multiple education, exhibition opportunities and health screenings to an estimated 1200 attendees.

This presentation will demonstrate:
- Proper height for walkers and canes
- Use of a walker tray to assist with activities of daily living
- Proper use of the “handy bar” to get out of the car
- Proper use of the reacher to get objects off the floor
- Proper use of a sock aid to assist with donning socks
Wellness Screenings
Presented by HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital:
- Don’t Skip a Beat, Get Steady on Your Feet: this will be a balance assessment in which we will use the Berg Balance Assessment to score people’s balance.
- Healthy Eating Tips: this will be a table that can provide recipe ideas, shopping list examples and visual portions to assist with portion control.
- Why Cough It Up When You Can Swallow It Down: this will be a questionnaire used to determine your risk for swallowing difficulties.
- Get a Healthy Start and Save Your Heart: This is a heart disease/stroke risk assessment screen. We ask that patients bring their latest cholesterol lipid panel and blood sugar if they have it to assist with calculations.
