WHAT:  Eight of the nation’s top wheelchair rugby teams go head-to-head this weekend in the 2013 Phoenix Rugby Rave. Join the fun at SpoFit and bring friends and family to witness some hard-hitting action and breathtaking courage. Enjoy music, food and beverages, and win some great prizes. Admission is FREE!

 WHO:   Event host, the Phoenix Fusion Wheelchair Rugby team features current and former U.S. Wheelchair Rugby Team members including Scott Hogsett, Nick Springer, Joe Delagrave and Ernie Chun. Teams scheduled to appear at the tournament include: Phoenix Fusion, Minnesota North Stars, Portland Pounders, London Annihilators, San Diego Sharp Edge, Tucson Pterodactyls, St. Louis Rugby Rams, Texas Stampede.

WHERE:     The Virginia G. Piper Sports & Fitness Center for People with Disabilities (SpoFit), at 5031 E. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85034; near Washington and 48th streets.

 WHEN:       The tournament begins Friday, Feb. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Action ramps up to the championship game Sunday, Feb. 17 at noon.
