What’s the Phoenix Summit Challenge (PSC)?  PSC is a City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department hiking event for people of all abilities.  This year, River of Dreams and SpoFit will be supporting participants in both the All Access Challenge and the Phoenix 4.  Join our team and challenge your mind, body, and spirit!  The event also includes a post hike U ROCK Festival and dinner at the North Mountain Visitors Center.

The All Access Challenge will take place on 3 trails in the Phoenix Mountains Preserve that meet ADA standards with the option to choose a more challenging trail at some trailheads and a 4th trail that is not accessible but “do-able” with the help of our volunteers and our trail wheelchairs.   We have 9 hours to complete this hiking challenge and depending on your hiking readiness you will be hiking or rolling between 4.75 to 10 miles.   Fee: $36

The Phoenix 4 will take place on 4 trails in the Phoenix Mountains Preserve and is not wheelchair accessible.  We will have 9 hours to complete 16 miles or as many miles as you can.   Fee: $75

Participants and volunteers who want to join the Daring Adventures or SpoFit teams for the Phoenix Summit Challenge should contact
Linda Tuck at linda.tuck@river-of-dreams.org or Kelsey Bocken  at kelseyb@abil.org.   Registration deadline is September 27.
