AAC in the Desert

Ability360 will host the AAC in the Desert Conference on February 22nd thru 24th. The conference is for therapy professionals and will focus on language and emergent literacy development that supports students with significant disabilities who use Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC).

ABC, Cerebral Palsy Foundation and Ability360 invite you to join the conference attendees to watch ABC’s “Speechless” on Wednesday evening at the conclusion of the conference to enjoy the program and interact with attendees. There will be pizza and drinks available starting at 6:30pm. The show starts at 7:30pm. Please come and enjoy the pizza.

Maya DiMeo (Minnie Driver) is a mom on a mission who will do anything for her husband Jimmy, her kids Ray, Dylan, and JJ, her eldest son with cerebral palsy. As Maya fights injustices both real and imagined, the family works to make a new home for themselves, and searches for just the right person to give JJ his “voice.”
