PHOENIX, Ariz. (Jan. 19, 2022): The 3rd Annual YOU CAN! Fest, showcasing a variety of available inclusive recreation services and activities for people of all abilities in the metropolitan area, is Saturday, Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Telephone Pioneers of America Park, the nation’s first accessible park, 1946 W. Morningside Drive in Phoenix. The event is free.  Donations are appreciated.

The YOU CAN! Fest is presented by Ability360, a Phoenix-based nonprofit organization run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities to address needs and barriers in the community and empower them to lead independent lives,

“YOU CAN! Fest offers an opportunity for people of all abilities to try new activities and to understand that with the right support and positive attitude, anything can be achieved,” said Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center Vice President and General Manager Gus LaZear.

The celebration will feature artists, music, games, food trucks, archery demonstrations, therapeutic horse interactions, bicycles of all types, a kids zone with arts, crafts and sports, and more. The day concludes with the annual 50/50 Great Ball Race when participants can purchase numbered ping-pong balls for a race down a ramp for a chance to win the raffle.
