U.S. Paralympics connects communities and organizations that provide sports and recreation opportunities for people with physical and visual disabilities, with an emphasis on youth, injured service members and veterans. It’s about putting people and resources together – all across America. SpoFit is one of over 500 sport clubs in the USA. |
SilverSneakers is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events. Health plans around the country offer this award-winning program to people who are eligible for Medicare or to group retirees. SilverSneakers provides a fitness center membership to any participating location across the country. As a participating location, SpoFit partners with SilverSneakers to unlock the door to greater independence and a healthier life for older adults. |
USA Triathlon is proud to serve as the National Governing Body for triathlon – the fastest growing sport in the U.S. Olympic Movement – as well as duathlon, aquathlon, aquabike, winter triathlon, off-road triathlon and paratriathlon in the United States. USA Triathlon sanctions more than 4,300 races and connects with more than 455,000 members each year, making it the largest multisport organization in the world. |
SpoFit is a proud Program Provider for Wounded Warrior Project. WWP assists Wounded Warriors – those injured service members returning home from post-9/11 conflicts – as they recover and transition back to civilian life. Programs are designed to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement. As part of Wounded Warrior Project’s Physical Health and Wellness initiative, SpoFit is one of seven Program Providers around the country to serve Wounded Warriors through adaptive sports, health, nutrition and recreational activities. Warriors are provided with free SpoFit memberships and can access a variety of programs and activities, including: -Year-round fitness program and classes -Personal training and fitness assessments -Wounded Warrior clinics, such as rock climbing and sports fitness, nutrition and wellness classes and support -Outdoor adaptive recreation activities, in partnership with River of Dreams -Family events |
