Sports & Fitness Volunteer Opportunities
Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center is a great place to volunteer! Our volunteers assist members and staff in order to provide the optimal experience for participation and independence.
Opportunities include:
- Fitness Room Volunteers - Assist members to be as independent as possible on the equipment. Volunteers provide support and assistance as needed. All volunteers will be trained on equipment.
- Youth Program Volunteers - Have fun playing recreation games and sports with children of all ages and abilities, while assisting staff.
- Rock Wall Volunteers - Assist staff in the facilitation of weekly rock climbing classes or during special events. Volunteers will be trained to belay by a staff member. Specific criteria do apply.
- Outdoor Volunteers - Assist staff and participants in the great outdoors! This could include assistance with our adaptive mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, or rafting trips. Volunteers will be required to go through additional training, including the required volunteer onboarding process.
- Special Events and Tournaments Volunteers - Assist staff with responsibilities during events or tournaments and events.
