The Improbable Theatre Company (ITC) was started in 1999, when several individuals who enjoyed attending theatrical and musical performances through Arizona Bridge to Independent Living (Now Ability360), desired to become more than spectators. That dream has grown into a troupe of many performers, directors, and stage managers performing numerous lunch-time productions at Phoenix’s Herberger Theater. The Improbable Theatre Company changed its name to Theatre360 in October 2015.
Who We Are
Theatre360 is a troupe of Phoenix-based artists dedicated to the personal, social and political voices of people with disabilities.
What We Do
Theatre360 presents original theatre pieces born out of the life experiences and artistry of people with disabilities, along with published plays. Themes, format and length of performance vary based on the works presented and the needs of specific audiences. Post-performance discussions are available to provide forums for dialogue about Theatre360’s artistic process and to explore the artistic voices of audience members. Theatre360 offers periodic workshops on a variety of theatre-related topics for beginning and seasoned artists.
Workshop participants practice what they’ve learned at Theatre360 theatre skills workshops.
