Making an Impact Now and for the Future

The wheelchair softball field at Telephone Pioneer Park will provide adaptive athletes of all ages with a space designed to support the needs of their sport. The creation of the field will add another venue for adaptive athletes to compete at their highest potential.

New Avenues for Adaptive Athletes

The wheelchair softball field will be one of only two dedicated wheelchair softball fields in the western United States, the only one in the Southwest, and the 25th in the country. The field will host clinics, practices, tournaments, and competitions for Ability360 teams and partner organizations, and will be home to Ability360's Wheelchair Softball Arizona Diamondbacks team and an inaugural youth team.
